hi there,
u had applied to UT Houston? u had interview today? did u do DDS or u r directly going for residency and PG. how ll this help, doing residency or PG without doing DDS? will u b eligible to give license exam and practice once u get license. how is it in Houston and elsewhere? i actually wanted information on advance standing program in Houston. and ofcourse advance edu program? i find it so difficult. it seems u have to have ur GRE scores also. can u help me?

Loma Linda sent out letters last friday. I received my letter on Tuesday of this week for an interview. They give you a date and you call and schedule a time. They are either on 12/5 or 12/6, half-day interview, with a lunch and dinner.

I'm new here. I'm an international student, I applied several schools, but have not hear anything from those schools yet, no yes or no. Do you know when they will tell you "no"? after match? I worried very much. Thanks.

If you haven't heard from programs for interviews, then it's safe to say you won't be getting any. You may hear from a program this coming week, but many programs are finished with interviews, and at the very least nearly every program has given out all of its interview spots.

That's my thoughts.

Is it worth it to do Pedo residency at the Boston Goldman pedo program?I mean paying a fees of about 50K per yr for two yrs and thehigh high living expenses ?

Is it worth it? That depends on what you want to do with your life and career. If you want to a pediatric dentist then the program can help you with that. For some it will be a great option. Some will match there and it will be their only option. For others it will be ranked low on their list. Many probably didn't apply there. Some may rank it high simply because they love Boston. Some will rank it low because of the high tuition.

All of those options are okay because we all are pursuing peds with differing backgrounds.

Alabama has already had their interviews, according to their secretary.
 
Anybody knows how much the tuition for pedo in NYU and is there any stipend?
 
Someone, correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure it is $45,000 a year, but they give you a $15,000 stipend.
