I'm co-editing a book that's under formal contract with a major academic publisher (not a university press but definitely one you've heard of in a reputable way--including this for context, if it matters, not to brag!). We're submitting the full manuscript for review very soon, and I was wondering if anyone here has experience with the peer review process for edited books and how it differs from the review process for manuscripts, as I'm not entirely sure what to expect from this part of the process.

Thanks!
