Penn Decisions

How does Penn make their decisions? Do the files go through the admissions committee and then return back to Corky for her final decision? Does her opinion of you matter more than your interviewer? Maybe I should suck up to her?

I don't know anything about penn but as a general rule in the application process and while you are a student you would do well to be polite and kind to people you interact with. This is certainly a measure of "people skills." Most dentists are worried about the the profession as a whole looking good and being respected by the public at large. It also helps make your day to day world less stressful. Sucking up usually isn't necessary.
