what is psu?
PSU=Penn State University I guess I'm too lazy to type Penn State.
I heard they have a beautiful campus is that true? and a 24 hr library?
The campus is OK. I guess if beautiful means grass, then yes, it's beautiful. So was the campus at U of I (my undergrad) and at almost every other campus I've been too  Please don't take that the wrong way. I'm not being cynical. The prettiest campus I've been to is Villanova's. The students matched the campus too.
Anyway, PSU does have a 24hr library, but I'm pretty sure the other schools did too. I think most schools try to make study as accessible as possible.
why did you like it more?
I liked PSU more mainly because of the students. I felt that I had more in common with them than at other schools. That's important to me, because I didn't consider that at all when I chose my undergrad. I didn't visit any other schools, didn't get the feel for any other environments. Now that I've taken classes at a few different places, I've found that schools have distinct personalities, and it's important to find one that fits.
what is the area/town around psu like?
Very rural. It's in the middle of PA. That's another plus for me. I have a dog, and living in downtown Philly to go to Jeff would be really hard on her. (No, I won't give her up. I've had her for 7 years, I've made a commitment and she's my responsibility) It reminds me of the U of I, which is in central IL. There are cows on both campuses. MOOOO
