hi guys -

has anyone gotten a letter saying that their app is on hold in the interview category and that they may be asked for an interview from now until March? just wondering....is this becuase they screen in state apps first?

I got the "hold for possible interview" letter way back in November. I had a friend get the same letter last year. He was rejected in late April. I am (and he was) out of state, so I think they may give it to their well-qualified, but not extremely well qualified applicants.

I recieved one of those letters, too, and I live in state. Although, I was living out of state when I applied, but I don't think that makes any difference. I thought it was weird to be put on an interview waiting list.

I know they don't only screen in-state apps first, b/c I'm out of state and I was interviewed on the first day they held interviews. Hope that helps. Good luck with your application process!
