From what I've gathered, is that it's best to go to your state school because it's cheaper and you would have a better chance at acceptance since they favor in state residents. However, PA doesn't have any state schools that are like that. Temple doesn't even favor in state residents. I've seen that Temple is more split by having half oos and half in state. So where exactly do PA residents attend dental school to actually have a slight advantage in acceptance like other people that have state schools?

Because of this it would mean they favor PA residents.... 50% of the class is from 1 state (PA) where the other 50% of the class is from all 49 other states. See the proportion? If you're a PA resident, swings in your favor. 🙂

Definitely apply to temple its a great school, I am a pa resident and will be attending temple in the fall. If you have any questions you can pm me

Pitt, Temple, and Penn all have lots of PA people. I think Pitt and Temple have a few more since they are state-related if not state schools.

You guys just don't have affordable state schools. There were a bunch of Penn residents at my Penn interview.
