I like it. Content is deeper and wider than 5MEC. The interface isn't as pretty, but it's navigable.

I just bought the bullet and purchased a 6-month subscription to PEPID (just to try it out).

I have to say that when my renewal comes up, I will most likely renew for 2 years. PEPID EM is the bomb! Much better than 5mECC and EssentialDx. It's very thorough for conditions it includes, workups, etc. I love the how they only include key points for various illnesses/diseases.

Now I think I'm going to renew my UpToDate subscription so I can get it on my Pocket PC. Just need to check to see if we can get individual ID's and download it from my university account. (Possible, but not likely.)

Re: PEPID... Anyone who hasn't used this should go to www.pepid.com and subscribe. It's well worth it for any EM resident or attending! $75 for 6 months, $140 for a year, or $200 for 2 years. Expensive, but well worth it and not to mention we can probably take it off our taxes.

Thanks for all those who provided feedback through the forum and PM's.

I wish the Pepid people would upgrade their viewer application though. The viewer application is a modified version of the open-source Plucker off-line web page viewer. The current version has better support for high-res and 320x480 resolutions, which would be really nice in Pepid.

Thanks all for the info - I have just ordered the Dell x30, and am wondering is PEPID the comprehensive program that it claims to be? Will I also have to purchase Epocrates, or is PEPID enough? Is it easy to novigate? Any pictures?
