I'm currently applying to Pepperdine's Master of Arts in Clinical Psych with an emphasis on MFT. I know a few people on this board are currently students there and I was wondering if you could ease my neuroticism and post/private message me your undergraduate stats so I can see how I compare.

My stats:

- I have a 3.87 GPA from Rutgers University, a 4.0 in my major (psych)
- I'm currently working in a research lab studying childhood and adolescent depression as a research assistant
- I also teach a 2 month Life Skills course to 7th and 8th graders as part of the work in the lab
- I was an office manager/intern at a counseling office
- I volunteer for a counseling/crisis hotline which I've been with for 2 years.

Thank you!

I did send you a message, I'm in the same boat as you lol misery loves company nothing worse than waiting huh? 😳

Hi,
I got into Pepperdine with much less than what you are offering to the program. I do not see one reason why they would not let you in. It is a private school, if you are willing to pay, have a decent background, and are involved with the admissions process and head of admissions than there is no reason they would not let you in. I think if you apply to any program you should not take the bad information to heart; if it works out for you than you were a good fit with Pepperdine, if not, I am sure you will fit in somewhere else perfectly. If it does not hurt you to try, then it might be a good option.
Good luck!
