So there are a number of threads about how people felt about a test with respect to difficulty ("PS seemed harder than most of the AAMC practice tests but VR was more straightforward"... etc etc). There are also some threads here about how people did on the actual test versus the practice tests.

I was curious if people could post both their measure of anecdotal difficulty with how they did on their actual score. Was your gut accurate? Were the sections you found the most challenging worse than you did on your practices, or were they buoyed by the curve? If you felt like the BS section was about the same as AAMC 8, for example, did your score reflect that? Or were you surprised by how you did in a given section? I'm curious about people's experiences -- gotta fill up this time between June 15th and July 18th somehow 😎

The first time i took the mcat i was ok--the BS had tons of organic but other than that it was what i was expecting. Then when I took it last August....wow. Everything was so difficult.....the BS section and the verbal were unbelivable. I walked out and I felt that I had completely bombed it. But I ended up doing about the same as I had been doing on my practice exams and i killed verbal. So in this case I feel that the curve definitely made up for the difficulty.

on practice cbt5 i felt like i got a 5 in PS when i was done with it (i REALLY thought i got like a 5) and ended up with an 11. ill let u know how the real thing is after i take it.😀
