Does anyone know how the percentiles work? I got a AA of 21 and it says that thats in the 96 percentile while my friend got a 20 and that was like 86 percentile, does it go by each test or is it a standard value?

From what I understand there are about 4 versions of the DAT and each version has it's own percentile value. The schools don't consider the percentiles so don't worry about it.

so there are 4 versions? 4x100=400 different science problems they had to think of?

It's not just a total of maybe 200 that they randomly throw at you so that the probability of getting exact same questions as someone else is (200!) ????

hmm...all i know is the "version" i got didn't have all those "calculated" setup answers for gchem like everyone else said they had. I only had one...ONE.

i think the percentile is just for maybe that one day. I took my test the same day as envision, and got a 20 (also 90% for me). It seems like we had the same test, i think my RC passages were the same as envision's.
