Hello doctors! can anybody suggest permanent and complete cure of Oral submucous fibrosis. I have seen patients with some trismus even after long treatments.

how is patient compliance? Did you get them to remove the underlying factors in their lifestyle? (i.e. chewable tobacco products, spicy foods, etc). I suspect it will be difficult to make changes to certain dietary habits but if they keep on stimulating their oral mucosa it's doubtful anything can be done 🙂
Yes, the patient had left all the possible underlying factors. Our treatment regimen include, oral antioxidants, hyaluronidase injections in left and right buccal mucosa, and physiotherapy. Patient is definately feels better, the patient get satisfied, but i dont find complete cure!
