So a 25 year old man started taking pseudoephedrine, as indicated. Started feeling severe chest pain, and medium headache. Went to the ER. BP reached 214/114, but ER did not bring it down, after they apparently missed the urine rbc count and proteinuria, as well as for some reason disregarding his crushing chest pain and headache.

The patient subsequently developed a severe migraine, POTS and chronic angina which persist years after. Eventually an echo, CT and LP were done, which showed no heart attack or stroke.

Have you ever seen a case like this? What type of vascular damage, or damage to the organs was likely done to continue these symptoms years after?

It looks like Fibrinoid Necrosis could be a possibility?
