I'm also persian, and applying this week actually. I think my chances are pretty slim as it is.

I've heard that dental schools have crazy ways of getting info on your past, so you should probably say that you have applied to medical school before.

those schools are ballbusters and you have to bust your balls to get in to the toughest and most underappreciated residency-- internal, only to bust your balls some more

your 3.1 is very good-- dont sell yourself short
your dat is stellar

as long as you have an upward trend on your transcript you should do what your heart tells you and not be in a rush to get there-- science is all about patience.

with a one year masters (MA Bio; william and mary college) or a 2 year masters (ANYWHERE!!) you'll have the option of dental school if you don't get in the meantime

if you say it i don't think your chances of getting in are good, unless you wait it out a year or two and do a master's and tell them "at this point i decided to pursue my passion for dentistry and turned my life around...", which is what i think is best

The recipes are in English and so are all of the conversation and instructions. She made it for people like us who are moving out and still want to be able to make their favorite Persian meals. I own one and I think that the instructions are pretty simple to follow and the dishes are great. I’m excited to be able to have this with me when I move out to help with some of my homesickness. I figured I'd plug the CD here in case there are other's who are interested in the same experience. The cost is $19.95 + S&H but I think its a good buy since you can use it for ever. Give her site a chance and if you buy the CD, let me know what you think. Thanks a lot guys!

The match is on the 11th. The World Cup starts on the 9th, but Iran and Mexico dont play until Sunday. ABC and ESPN are showing live coverage.

Mexico will be a tough opponent...if we even tie them, that would be HUGE.

yup i am, i got 250 bucks bet on it, one pay out is for an exact score 3-2 (iran wins) itll pay bout 7000 and the other bet will pay out 1000 if iran wins...so im hoping for some magic but two of the defenders are put down as injured im just hoping thats just BS to raise the other teams hopes then lower it when they see a complete line up

I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but...we will win!! (Mexico that is). Here in LA the pasion is great. Its seen as Beverly Hills (Persians) vs. East LA and well...the rest of LA (Full of Mexicans).

Since I was a kid Iran has always played defensively until they are down by a goal, then they wake up and try to play offensively. After the second goal all the players went forward to make it 2-2 just like the first half and then a simple mistake and a counter attack had the third goal for Mexico.
You gotta remember Czech Republic won the second place in the Euro cup and it's a very good team, USA is a new team.

will do...i was wondering, has AADSAS updated the status of anybody's designated dental schools on their app? cuz i called vcu to see if they received my app and the lady was like yea it's all complete and everything, but you should be able to check from your app, and i was like i did, but aadsas hasn't updated it, and she said it should be updated. i emailed aadsas but they haven't responded to me yet...are you guys experiencing similar issues?
