hello SDN,

I have read that there are people here who are gracious enough to read a personal statement and give feedback. I have searched for any info where to locate these alleged "people", but have had no success.

So, I must ask...is anybody out there? Can anybody hear me? And if so...do you want to read my PS and give me feedback?

No offense, but I would highly recommend not sending you PS to anyone with motive to copy ideas (or the whole thing) from your PS into their own or intentionally give horrible advise to increase their odds of acceptance. I’m not saying that piojita's intentions are bad but the reality is they could be. Only send your PS to SDNers who's post history would clearly indicate they have been accepted, and would have no reason for a conflict of interest with you. P.S. Whytheface I am working on your PS and will get it to you soon.

I hadn't even thought of the "stealing ideas" aspect of doing this! Now I'm scared....Well, not really. I don't think my PS has much that can be borrowed from. I was just trying to get feedback from people on my essay in exchange for feedback on theirs. Whytheface and I already went over each other's essays. Would you be kind enough to look over mine DrapDO? Have you been accepted or are you applying?

Most people probably are not going to steal anything or be malicious but you never know. Sure I will take a look at yours if you want, yes I was lucky enough to be accepted to KCOM.

I read them a couple of years ago, back when we had a thread for that.

I can read some, but I caution you that I am studying for Step II, so my turn-around time won't be super fast. I also promise not to steal your ideas. 😉
