Hello, I'm currently applying for MD and DO programs and I'm looking for someone to read and critique my PS.

Yeah I messaged the two people who were still available on that thread and have yet to hear back. I assume they are just really backed up. It's also pretty late in the season unfortunately.

I would think it's actually already too late in the season for MD. If you haven't even submitted your primary app to AMCAS yet, you'll have to wait for them to verify it. And then you have to wait to get your secondary invites from the schools. And then you have to submit those. Some schools' deadlines for submitting secondaries have already passed. If I were you, I would definitely wait and apply on the first day next cycle.

Definitely too late for MD. Depending on stats it could be too late for DO too. I'd definitely wait till next cycle. Save yourself money and beef up your application if you can. Being a re-applicant doesn't speed things up to my knowledge.

Well I appreciate the comments. With my stats I think I at least have a chance with DO schools, so I will go ahead with with those applications.

Honestly, as a reapp, you stand a greater chance of submitting early in the new coming cycle.
