squirrelsrule: Overall flow and cohesiveness, general comments, can look at spelling and grammar if you want as well. I am available mostly before spring but will make time in the summer as well. July and August will have plenty of time again as I transition from rehabbing to getting ready for vet school.
kakurubird: Can help with spelling and grammar, general comments, etc., but willing to focus on whatever you prefer. Former writing center tutor in undergrad and I tend to write lots of comments, generally in suggestion form, since I can't talk to the writer as easily as I'm used to. Available any time.
Nordicat: Certified K-12 teacher, good for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and general comments regarding flow/division of paragraphs and tone. I seriously had to help aclassroom full of teenagers write resumes and cover letters last year! I've earned 5's and 4.5's on the old GRE writing portions, as well.
Fly Racing I had an admissions essay printed in a "how to book" as an example of an exemplary essay. I used no other editors or helpers with the essay! I'm happy to look at others for the big ideas, creative and eye catching concepts, with most importantly a professional structure.

finnerma: can help with spelling, grammar, love to edit and have experience editing essays, research articles and the like. Particularly good at improving flow of an essay. Your essay will look torn apart after you get it back from me, but don't be afraid!

nuevaburro : I'm a grammar fiend and a teaching assistant, so I carry a red pen everywhere! Also a walking dictionary/thesaurus. I am really good at helping to get within word limits, and generating ideas. And if all goes well I won't need to be rewriting my own PS this fall so I would actually have time to read someone else's.
TigerWillow : was taught college grammar in 5th grade, so I've had much practice at catching those mistakes! Good at judging "hooks" and cutting down verbiage, especially with that word count! I was told my ps was "well written and honest/genuine." I can help DEFINITELY NOW (I'm bored) through the end of July (I'll be 25 in the 28th-eek!)\
hopefulinva: My other degree is Management, so I'm well versed in business and technical writing; I'm also the daughter of a creative writer. Other than grammar, spelling, and diction, I'm VERY good at identifying areas where you can really "sell" yourself! I'll be graduating mid-May so I'll be busy around that time, also near the end of June, and from August onwards I will be unable to help. But until then, please use me! I want to help you! SOV: If you want a soul-crushing, blunt, true critique of your PS, I'm your man. I'll tell you what makes you look boring, plain, stupid, *****ic, and just un-acceptable in general. I have time now because I am not in classes and ready to burst your optimistic bubble. Some applicants have appreciated my feedback, others.... the death of hope can be hard to live with.
NStarz: I can help with grammar/spelling (grammar Nazi...), flow, topic choice, cohesiveness. I am really good at coming up with topic sentences and memorable endings. Also available for brainstorming help to come up with a good topic

HopefulAg: I am a stickler for spelling, grammar, and phrasing. I'll review for anything but those are my strong points. I can't necessarily tell you how to make a story good, but I can tell you how to make it legible! Only caveat is that I can't review anything until the end of July.

So you should PM to get an email address to send it to, then send it and make sure you say who you are in the title, and then wait until I have forgotten about it thoroughly (say, a week) and then pester me again. And again. I will do it - I just forget emails in a matter of minutes.
