I'm an MS3 applying for ob/gyn. I'm starting to work on my personal statement, can anyone give me any ideas on what to talk about to maximize my chances of getting into a good residency program?

I'm an MS3 applying for ob/gyn. I'm starting to work on my personal statement, can anyone give me any ideas on what to talk about to maximize my chances of getting into a good residency program?

There are plenty of articles on here for general PS statements - try searching the general forum for basic stuff.

For OB-specifics - I would focus on why you want to be an OB/GYN, what specific stories you have that turned you into the field, what have you done for Women's Health so far and/or what you plan to do.

That's a start for now...
