Ok. This is kind of silly, but I'm finally editing my personal statement and I am not sure how to refer to "Ob/gyn." Should I write out "Obstetrics and Gynecology" every time I say it? That seems kind of cumbersome, but it also seems weird to use abbreviations. Is it ok to abbreviate to "Ob/gyn?" And if I abbreviate, should I capitalize just the "O," or should the "G" be capitalized, too?
Maybe it's just a matter of personal taste, but what did you guys do?
