Yes, I know its a little corny, but help me think of a good idea for a pharmacy related license plate. I know we have some creative types.

Here are a few I found on the internet:

PILPUSR
DRG DLR
HAPYPRN

I've been intending on going with RX ROB which will happen within the next month or so. I don't think being really proud of what you do is quite the same thing as vanity, especially when it represents hard work, and not simply being born into certain genetics or racial/cultural background or any static feature in general.

I have to admit that I am also a sucker for a cool pharmacy license plate! My co-workers think that I am a little curious, but I don't even have a nice plate on my car yet!

MEDMIXR
XSCRIPT
SCRIPT TECH
12HR DRG D
24HRS 12AWK
2SOON2RFIL

LoL, those are terrible, but they're fun to come up with. How many letters, anyway? I've never ordered a custom tag.

You get seven most places. Numbers and letters and spaces and the dash if you wish.

I like MEDMIXR, it would be perfect for a compounding pharmacist or tech!

My father, a pharmacist, once told me NEVER to have anything related to pharmacy/pharmacist on your car. Not any stickers, license plate, etc. Because ppl, especially druggies, will know you are a pharmacist and it is asking for trouble. A pharmacist in our town was murdered a couple of yrs ago because of a druggie wanting drugs from his pharmacy. He waited outside and jumped in the Pharmacists car and shot him. I personally agree with my father on this subject. The world is a dangerous one and yet I realize that you can't live your life in fear. So, its a personal call. 🙂

I was thinking the same thing. If you turn a druggie down for syringies and he leaves and sees a nice new shiney car with a "RX" on the license plate he will know exactly which one to key.

vanity plates r for ******s, sorry... 👎

Our medchem professor had the students get him a plate one year that said PKA8-10. This is the pKa that he always stresses. It was funny.

I agree that it might be a bad idea to have a plate that makes it obvious that you're a pharmacist - it could be dangerous at some point. But I think it's still cool to have a license plate that seems like a bit of an in-joke. My former PI (when I was in grad school) had a license plate that said PARADOCS - his wife is also a PhD.

The dorkiest license plate I ever saw was of a genetics professor at UC Irvine - it said AUG UGA. Maybe I was a bigger dork for recognizing right away that it said "start stop."

the funniest license plate I've seen is "IGOT STD."
actually, I haven't seen one exactly like that. It'd be funny to see it though. 😀 😀

4CKPCAT 🙄
FARMER-C 👍
GOTAIDSCUR

I saw a car parked in the staff parking at a hospital one time with the tag: "CUNOR"... I guess it was an OR surgeon. I thought that one was cool. 🙂
I saw a tag on the road the other day that said "IMFISHY"... it was some girl driving. Why?! haha 🙂
