I just got back this in a rejection letter. Does it mean anything?
Do schools write personalized stuff in their letters? I would think not but the "in particular" is tripping me up.
In particular, your application materials indicated that your credentials are excellent and you are fully qualified for graduate study. However, all available positions have been filled.
I would totally call and find out, and maybe I will. Is it worth talking to the admissions committees after getting a rejection?
