I've seen it in pharmacy school. People are people. Having a professional degree does not change you as a person. Ive had a professor basically tell me she "wasnt sure" when I was trying to correct an exam question during a group revision. My friend went to check again with her later for a straight answer and she basically told him "I didnt want to admit he was correct in front of everyone." He told me she thought I was a show off (when I thought I was bringing up a legitimate point and many people in class missed that question n on the exam). The question was which drug more likely causes hypertriglycidemia and hypertension and less likely hirsutism... cyclosporine or tacrolimus... a pretty straigh orward question (it's either this or that). All around she was always unprofessional. I have many other examples like blatant racism, looking down on a student when they ask a basic question in the middle of class, sexual harassment, etc.
