Does anybody know the admissions acceptance rate for PGSP Consortium over the last few years? I can't seem to find that information anywhere. I'm still trying to decide if it's a diploma mill or not 😕

This program has been debated here adnauseum. They do not post acceptance rates online. You should do a search on the forum. The main problem is cost--around 300K for tuition and living expenses.

I'll save you the trouble of searching reading through previous threads - bottom line, for FSPS, it's probably one of the best out there in terms of delivering solid outcomes (e.g., for example PsyD program got a 100% APA match rate for internships last year) - and the training seems to be decent overall.
However, it's probably the most blisteringly expensive FSPS program in clinical psychology in the world. Unless you're independently wealthy it's really not something that can be recommended in good conscience to anyone.
I don't know if that means it's a "diploma mill".... you decide....

For the class of 2017 (last year's incoming cohort), the Consortium received 300 applications and made 51 admissions offers for an incoming cohort of 31 -- amounting to a 17% acceptance rate (51/300). This information is not on our website, though I believe it will be in the future. These figures were shared internally by our DCT. I do not have information about cohorts from previous years or for the incoming class.

I don't think the admissions rates on their own say anything about the program quality. Popular locations, especially in CA, always get more applicants.

Yep, it is. APA's Commission on Accreditation surveys all programs annually, and they recently published a 5-year summary of all accredited programs (http://www.hwic.org/resources/details.php?id=12171). Clinical PsyD programs have the highest proportion of admissions each year, ranging from 42% in 2006 to 39% in 2010 (see page 13). For 2011, the most recent year for the APA Annual Report Online (http://www.hwic.org/resources/details.php?id=12168), an average of 62.27 persons out of an average of 192.24 applicants were offered admission, resulting in a mean acceptance rate of 35.06% (p. 3).
Communication is not a strong suit of this program, but that will hopefully change in time.
