I'm not sure if any of you are in a similiar boat:
Hospital X offers both a prelim-medicine year and a transitional year. You're pretty excited about the transitional year, but realize it's pretty competitive. You receive interview offers from both the IM and TY programs within Hospital X. However, you're conflicted about convincing both programs how excited you are to be at that program in the hospital.
Needless worrying, or valid concern?
