LSU/Ochsner Ophthalmology Residency
Offering a PGY-3 position to begin on 07/01/2015.
Pre-requisites: Must have completed intern year and PGY2 by 6/30/2015 and have taken and passed USMLE 1, 2, and 3.
Our regional, multi-site program offers a variety of patient populations and systems for the resident who embraces a dynamic work environment and educational experience. Our 24 residents transition to five geographic locations and nine clinic settings.
Housing is provided at Lafayette, LA; Baton Rouge, LA, and Houma, LA. Residents commute from their New Orleans homes to Bogalusa, LA. This range of experiences prepares them to work in public or private work environment, on many different types of equipment, and with a variety of personalities. Our three-year, ACGME-accredited residency merges clinical training, academic activities, and research opportunities. Please see our website for details.
