Does changing the volume of a solvent, specifically water, usually change the pH of a solution?

Somehow I was thinking it didn't. Maybe I was thinking of buffers instead. Can anyone clarify?

(I ONLY mentioned TBR to prevent spoilers.)

no change in pH really only applied to buffers. Think about it this way, you have a 1L solution of HCl (non-buffer system) with pH of 5. If you add another liter of water, does the pH change?
