Hey guys, i was hoping somebody would clarify this for me. what are some major differences between Ph.D. in pharmacology and Pharm.D. degree?? why would somebody choose Ph.D. over Pharm.D. or vice versa??

haha yeah i saw a thread about it somewhere.

PhD in Pharmacology - work is mainly in a research/academic setting

PharmD - healthcare provider (like DDS, MD, DO, DPM, DVM, etc.)

Phd in pharmacology - work is mainly in a research/academic setting

pharmd - healthcare provider (like dds, md, do, dpm, dvm, etc.)
