Pharmacist Gift Ideas?
Started by Serene7
So I wanted some ideas on what you would get a male or female Pharmacist as a gift. Especially if you worked for them for a year and they have been your inspiration in doing pharmacy and also wrote you a recommendation.
You can't ever go wrong with good meat. lol
Restaurant gift cards perhaps? I got five different kinds for my birthday last week. I was stoked although I'm not a pharmacist so that may not excite the druggists. 😛
Depends on what kinda person they are. Personally I would love something from Healthcare Logistics Catalog, but I know other people are more classy than I
i like going to my favorite local bakery then buying some treats for the pharmacist or everyone in the pharmacy to enjoy

I like to gear gifts to the person. It shows that they are important enough to listen to what they say. So in getting them a gift I would get the a gift card to their favorite restaurant, or buy a book they have been talking about reading etc... and attach a personal note to it.
I like to give something nice, but useful, like a coffee or tea gift basket. This way, even if they don't personally like the gift, someone in their family generic viagra will probably get use out of it. There's a nice cheap phentermine Starbucks gift basket at Target.com, and it's reasonably priced.
Be careful with price, some companies place restrictions on the monetary value of gifts recieved by employees per year. I think this might be more in the government than private sector, but be careful you aren't giving a gift that could get the pharmacist in trouble for recieving it.
Money is always a good gift.
I have so many mortars and pestles I received as gifts my wife has banned all family members for every giving them to me again.

Haha, so much for "no mortar and pestle" discussion! 😀
I know one BCPP who has a collection of old empty bottles of "tonics" and morphine variants, etc.

And I don't think you can buy mortals any more. 😉
It occurred to me that I've seen this jigsaw puzzle before. Kinda cool. Hope the link works.

What? No way, I won't give money to my boss. If your boss is an artistic person, you can give him unique gifts, like something for home decoration or probably some good wine.
