He is done pretty much. Now that I am applying for jobs, pretty much in all places they asked if there has been fraud while practicing.

Pennyhoarder is one of the worst website out there that delivers sh1t content. It's geared toward the uneducated by selling hope and easy money (there isn't one). The whole site is dedicated to create junk and click bait to boost traffic for ad revenue and affiliate bonus. I wouldn't trust anything I read there.
