I was talking to a Wal-Mart DM recently.
I don't remember her words verbatim, but she directly said to me, "It's not like it used to be. We can find pharmacists without a problem. So if you don't like the way we're doing things, you can leave, and we'll find a pharmacist who does."
This comes from a DM who oversees a state that is *not* especially saturated, according to the Pharmacy Manpower Project's rankings.

It's funny because not long after she said that, some of their pharmacists gradually quit. They haven't quite replaced all of them yet, but they're getting there.
