Not according to the Pharmacy Manpower project! The demand for pharmacists in California is greater than most states. Even more than Texas!

I can't believe this study has been repeatedly cited for the need of new pharmacy schools. Even the Bureau of Labor Statistics used this study. Major news networks then cite the BLS study.

My mistake. Clairemont is the new Keck school that I just got an email about. So there are only going to be 12. Woo!!!
Marshall will be the 13th pharmacy school in CA. They will open in Fall 2016. Outside of CA, we have Binghamton https://www.binghamton.edu/pharmacy-and-pharmaceutical-sciences/ and UTEP http://chs.utep.edu/cpp/ opening in Fall 2016 and Fall 2017 respectively. Pre-pharmacy students are in for a wild ride.
