This is to concentrate views from recent grads or soon to be graduating to give TRUTHFUL accounts of the profession. I’m seeing a lot of misinformation and it is our job to be transparent for anyone looking to go into the profession. I’ll just post the job outlook from the Bureau Labor of Statistics Pharmacists : Occupational Outlook Handbook : U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

BLS has been referenced many times throughout this forum and the outlook on pharmacy was already warned before they even released information regarding this.

FWIW, the stats were updated for all professions a couple weeks ago (pharmacy is still at 0%).

Is the -100 job growth accurate?

What does that mean? 100 less jobs? Seems like the number would be much higher than that. There were easily more than 100 pharmacists laid off last year across the country.

Yeah that seems odd.

-100 technically cannot be considered "growth"...

We are beating a dead horse at this point. Pharmacy is dead. We can't revive it. Leave when you can. Maybe if we got a hold on the control of our own profession about 10 years ago, we could've had a different outlook today but... as sad as it is to admit, it's over. Even with PBM reforms passing, they still have way too much power over our own jobs.
