If I was an adcom member, I wouldn't be basing everything off of just the personal statement. It's best if your teachers and whoever's writing you a LOR also includes some background information in relation to your "story" that way everything generally ties together. With that being said, if you've got some work experience and some great extracurriculars, your personal statement would definitely hold some more weight. But reading through 50 or so letters at a time, you've got to be a showstopper.

A great personal statement is always nice to have, but in all honesty a pulse and a fat wad of loan money will get you into schools these days. With quite a few schools opening up and established schools expanding their seat sizes, it's not difficult getting in unless if you have glaring issues with your application package.

YES. If you can manage to impact the adcom in the limited space pharmcas gives...then yes it can make you stand out, and can definitely help.
On the flipside, I did spend a lot of time on my essay, and consequently during the interview, was asked detailed q's about what I had written. So for whatever that's worth.
Edit: in terms of advice, think back to the last time you really cried, laughed until it hurt, or, danced like no one was watching. Then write about it.

I think this is perfectly fine as long as you answer all of their questions in the prompts. This is the most important factor. Additionally, it's not like pharmacy schools are going to be checking with each other to see if you submitted the same statement for all schools applied for.
It can't get you in on its own, but it definitely helps. I think mine definitely helped me get into UKCOP since I had a lower than average PCAT and GPA score for UKCOP. In order to make mine as great/strong as possible, I worked directly with my schools pre-health committee and career center on writing a stellar one. if your school has these, work with them. I can't stress this enough! Your statement needs to be about you! You need to talk about yourself, don't sum up your resume. They already know those things about you.
Use an intro and conclusion paragraph to introduce and sum up everything you talked about. This ensures that you get across the points you want to get across. The body paragraphs need to tell them your interests, why pharmacy?, why the medical field in general?. More or less, it needs to tell the story of why you think that pharmacy school will accomplish your long and short term goals and what you have done/interests/quirks that will make you a great student in pharmacy school.
