there are a couple of ties among these top 23. I don't know if I put much stock in these rankings systems though IMHO.

Is there anyway to find the board passing rate for some of these school. I'm trying to put together a final presentation for my teaching rotation. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

does anyone know what criteria they use to rank these schools? i know NIH grant money is a big factor?

Short of contacting the folks at US News directly, this is probably the best you can find on their general ranking methodology.
