Pharmcas took forever with my application(s). Do not wait untill the last minute. The more people applying (as the deadline draws nearer) the longer it takes.
Be sure to instruct your professor to check their spam filter.GATOR Girl said:Are you serious? I had the same problem with one of my references. I contacted the teacher, and she said she never received an email. I ask PharmCas to send my teacher another request. I have all of my references now! Have you contacted your teacher or PharmCas to see if maybe there was an email problem?

I don't have my Spring 2006 planned classes on this transcript, so I deleted the Spring 2006 category under the "courses" version of the application.
But then AFTER I submitted the application I realized that, oh god, I still have Microeconomics as a Prepharm requisite in Spring 2006!!![]()

So I'm just terribly confused right now. When I went to look under FAQs in the "courses" section it actually SAID "Do not include Spring 2006/Summer2006 classes" so I thought I wasn't supposed to put them on there...but I still have Prepharmacy classes to take in Spring 2006!
Should I sent out a new transcript and a transcript change request to PharmCAS ASAP?! I'm afraid colleges will reject me right off the bat because I don't have Microeconomics anywhere on my application...

If you want to fix it, you have to REDO the ENTIRE thing. I feel your pain. I had over 200 hours of courses to enter because I had an Art degree in addition to the BS I just finished. I had one small mistake and I couldn't figgure out how to edit it. I called PharmCAS and they said the only way to fix was to delete an entire session and START OVER. Yet another reason why that lame ass, poorly designed, non user-friendly site known as PharmCAS really SUCKS!!usi said:So I have a billion courses because I started as a Music Student and morphed into a premed.
I entered all my completed courses in PhamCAS, and checked them a bunch of times before submitting them.
Still I made a couple of mistakes on the amount of credits that they are worth. The system won't let me fix it! 😱
Has anybody made the same mistake? Did it hurt your chances of admission?
Thank you. I am worried.![]()

I hated PharmCAS.

i'm applying in texas and was just wondering if we didn't have that or i'm completely not in the loop.

I'm kind of nervous I won't be able to update my fall grades before the January 1st deadline. Is the Academic Update available only after Pharmcas goes over the entire application and calculates the GPAs?Swanchick84 said:This is from the PHARMCAS FAQ's
Q: When is the Academic Update window?
A: Academic Update is open from December 15 through March 1 2005. Applicants must be delivered BEFORE February 1 to be considered for an Academic Update.
But I wouldn't procrastinate on this. I'm doing right when I get all my grades. Remember, you can only submit it once so make sure you have all your grades before updating. =)

Thanks
IMPORTANT: To expedite the update process, PharmCAS gives your designated pharmacy schools real-time, secure, and encrypted access to your entire application on-line. Upon receipt of your up-to-date official transcripts for course work that you have updated, PharmCAS will verify the updated information, recalculate your PharmCAS GPA scores, and resend hard copies of your application to all of your designated pharmacy programs.
ethyl said:So after e-submitting.. can all of the schools we applied to view our applications? Do they have to wait until pharmcas calculates the GPA to consider us? If so, then is applying a week or day before the deadline pointless since the school would only get the app after 4-5 weeks?
