With the inclusion of the pharmacist in select State loan repayment programs across the country as of 2012, what is the role of the pharmacist in jobs which qualify for SLRP?
The department of health rep I spoke with advised a pharmacist in a patient-centered medical home model of care. Primarily in FQHCs, Critical Access Hospitals, free health clinics and the like.
Would this include a staff pharmacist, clinical pharmacist, MTM pharmacist?
I would be interested to hear from anyone who is currently in a SLRP contract - your scope of practice; new grad or experienced pharmacist.
Thanks!
