Is it worth it to put PBK on my work/activities section of AMCAS? Since I was invited to join as a senior, I will not be able to honestly put more than a couple of hours in to "total hours." I know that it is very prestigious, but will it make my application stand out given that I joined so late?

So did you just talk about how you think the traits you needed to join PBK reflect the traits necessary to be a good MD and etc?

Do you have other honors or awards, like dean's list, that you can include as well? If so, you can list them together along with PBK, instead of just PBK.

Yes, that is a good idea. I have been on the Dean's list and gotten other awards that I can mention. I guess I was just a little thrown off given that all of my other experiences were a little more "hands on" participation

No. ADCOMs know what PBK is and don't need you to use the whole text box spewing a BS story about what it means to you and how it changed your life. I wrote exactly one sentence along the lines of "Membership in PBK is awarded to students with traits X,Y, and Z." I wrote more deep and profound descriptions of the activities where I actually did/learned things.

Completely agree with this. Ideally you'll use one slot for "awards/honors" and PBK would be listed there. Unless you were unusually involved in the organization, it's not really worth using an entire slot for. It should be mentioned but it's no Rhodes.
