and since most of us won't be job-hunting with our resumes (hopefully), it isn't useful for very much - unless, of course, your obit in written up in the NY Times - the secretary of my local chapter was bragging that PBK is the only honor society that's mentioned there. yay 🙄 on the bright side, you do get to learn the cool secret handshake 😉
in terms of admissions - what i gather is they take everyone with a gpa of >3.8, look at their transcripts, and nominate those whose transcripts are sufficiently well-rounded (i.e., lots of humanities as well as sciences). and i think for juniors it has to be 3.9 or above. but if you really want more info, you could probably contact the person on your campus.
