I have read the other thread about phi beta kappa and it's prestige, but it is an honor society for undergrads in liberal arts and sciences. I am a graduate student and was invited to join phi kappa phi (which does invite graduate students as well as undergrads), does it hold any weight like phi beta kappa?

Not really. I'm in this one because they waived the fee for me, but it's not that good. I think it's just not as selective as PBK.

I was just inducted to this society. I think that it is pretty good. I am not familiar with PBK's selectivity, but for phi kappa phi (as a Junior undergrad) you must be in the top 7.5% of your class to be inducted and top 10% of your class as a senior or grad student.

I've heard from many that Phi Beta Kappa is the most prestigious undergrad honor society.

It's at least something you can add on your resume, if you want it. I didn't join right away, but they have this graduate fellowship (and other scholarships) you can apply for regardless of membership status, and I got one! So I guess now I'm a member.

Don't know if its worth it without the scholarship, though.
