phi tetha kappa.. to join or not to join?

😕 Does anyone know anything about phi tetha kappa honor society of 2 year colleges? I have been invitied to join, but I don't know much about it. I am done with prerequisites of pharmacy school in a 2 year college and I am going to start pharmacy school on Summer. If you have any information, please share your it. to Join or not to join? 🙂

Most definitely join. I am a member at my school, it looks very good on your records also. And the fee is a one-time thing, I have only paid once.

I was a member at my school and was a Recorder for the local chapter for 6 months. It's worth the $50 chapter fee, and it also opens a lot of scholarship doors for you, plus you get a nice little pin to put on your lab coat. 😛

Agree with them both! YES JOIN. with over $49 million in scholarships awarded annually $50 lifetime membership fee is nothing. If I were you, I'd get involved regionally too. It opens SOOOOOOO many doors. You'll also get to go to the international conference this April in Orlando, Florida! 🙂

Apparently it looks good. I joined, but haven't heard squat from them since. Supposedly they meet every now and then, but no one knows when. It's a credential with a one-time fee. Why not go for it?

No fair lol....I paid $60.00 for my membership fee. Definitely join though. Many scholarship opportunities.
