If an undergrad organization has Greek letters and isn't a social fraternity/sorority, I'd avoid it.

Without Phi Delta Epsilson (international med/pre-med coed frat) I would not have the leadership or volunteer experiences that I was able to put on my app. Plus having an entire organization where everyone is focused on getting into medical school is an amazing support system.
Just wanted to point out this important exception.
