can u explain these?

if the molar %age of adenine in a DNA specimen is 22% .then what i sthe molar content of Guanine?
1)22%
2)28%(ans)
3)44%
4)56%
5)78%

is there a fromula for this question ?

which of the following is least polar?
1)ethanol
2)cholestrol(ans)
3)palmitic acid
4)glcocholic acid

the most abundant no phospholipid component of the cell membrane is
1) cholestrol (ans)
2)deoxycholate
3)macroglobulin
4)triglyceride

No formula.Just know AT, GC pairs with each other.
So if Adenine is 22% is Thymine is also 22%.So 44% is by AT.So the remaining 56% is shared by GC each 28%.

Cholesterol is a phospholipid. All lipids are non polar and hydrophobic. Here the lipid is only cholesterol. All others are not lipids at all.........

the most abundant no phospholipid component of the cell membrane is
1) cholestrol (ans)
2)deoxycholate
3)macroglobulin
4)triglyceride

The function of cholesterol is to be a highest concentrated phospholipid in cell membranes. That is C's major function.
All others are not components of cell membrane.

C+G+A+T = 100%, where C = G and A = T. Since the percentage of A is 22, you know the percentage of T is also 22. 100-22-22 = 56, which you know is split evenly between cytosine and guanine. Therefore, the percentage of G is 28.

It just is. Look at the molecular structures of each molecule and the answer should be evident.

the most abundant no phospholipid component of the cell membrane is
1) cholestrol (ans)
2)deoxycholate
3)macroglobulin
4)triglyceride

This is another one of those things you just have to memorize. Cholesterol is found in abundance in the cell membrane.

in the last question its non -phospholipid componenet🙁......thanks fro the other answers though..really appreiciate it🙂)
