I'm planning to take the second semester of physical chemistry at an affiliate campus since my school only offers one semester of introductory of physical chem with lab.

Do you think this is the right one and covers what is needed for phys chem II??

CHMA11H3 Introductory Chemistry II: Reactions and Mechanisms
In this course reactions and equilibria in chemical systems are explored through their thermodynamic properties and chemical kinetics. Acid/base and redox equilibria will be covered and some reactions of organic molecules will be introduced.
This course includes a three hour laboratory every other week which alternates with a one hour mandatory tutorial.

THANKS!

This question really should be directed to your school...

And since it's an affiliate campus they should know.

Yes, ask your professor for Physical Chemistry I what the next course is.

The course description you posted seems like it's for Intro Chem, (acid/base chemistry and redox are typically first year stuff, also the class is titled "Introductory Chemistry II") so it's probably not the right course.

I think you're trolling. But nevertheless, what you described is not PChem 2. PChem 2 is Quantum Mechanics... With maybe some kinetics thrown in for good measure.

Methinks OP is confusing physical chemistry with inorganic/general chemistry.

Methinks OP would be very scared if he needed to take gen. chem and wound up in a P chem course.

Methinks OP would be very excited if he needed to take P chem and wound up in a gen chem course.
