Physician Assistant to Physician??

Hi! I am a high school student who is interested in becoming a physician assistant. As I would love to study and become a physician, but I can't due to financial expenses of medical school, so I am debating if it would be ideal if I study to become a physician assistant and later on become a physician. Please reply!

Most people can’t afford medical school. They have student loans, don’t become a physician assistant first.

Good thing is that you can start pursing either career the same way - that is by getting a Bachelor's degree in any field and fulfilling prerequisites which are generally similar for both programs. While you are in undergrad, I'd encourage you to shadow both professions to make the most informed decision for yourself.
