Physics 2 Question

So if I haven't taken physics 2 yet but am applying this june, will they consider my application without it? I am taking physics 2 starting on June 30 and it should end Aug 4. I would really like to submit very early (June 1). Thanks. Also I don't have my letter of recs in yet, when do they start looking at apps. Thanks for your help guys and best of luck to everyone.

Yes. They'll just expect you to complete it before beginning medical school. You can submit the Primary without the letters already submitted---but I'm pretty sure you have to provide the names of letter writers before submitting. And I think it's something that can't be changed once you submit. So...at least have those lined up.

I really thought this was going to deal with Electric Field or Magnetism...lol

Nice. Thanks for the info and go John Wall. I saw him eating out the past weekend in west hollywood. Very few people recognized him, won't be that way in a few months.

I will obviously complete it, but my question is if I should submit my application and would they accept it if the course hasn't been completed yet. Thanks.

Me too!!! I managed to ace Physics II the second time around (14 years later), but I hated it every bit as much. Sorry to say this in front of the engineering majors, but it was torture.

Anyway, don't apply until you've finished the pre-reqs with B's or better...best of luck to you!

I could be mistaken,

But I'm pretty sure you can submit and be considered/even accepted without having Physics 2 taken. But you MUST take it prior to beginning. As long as you stick with your plan of taking it this summer, you'll be fine.

Yes, it's fine. What matters is that you complete all the pre-reqs before entering med school. Just list when you'll be completing it.

If you're asking as to if it'll hurt you for the MCAT...I don't think so but you should know something from reviewing prep books.
