Does anybody have any advice as to what resources are best for the physics portion and the QR portion on the OAT? I tried chad's video's and Kaplan but I feel like I need more practice and I want to see what else is out there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'm watching Chads videos for Physics and although he explains a lot of stuff in great detail which is helpful, I'm starting to notice in the videos that he mentions the MCAT a lot and I think he just put up the same videos for OAT students to review. Its pretty helpful, but goes way more in than I think we need to know cause I know the MCAT is a lot more detailed with their Physics questions. Did any of you guys come across Rotational Kinematics or Angular Velocities during your studies for the OAT? Im trying to decide if I should actually take the time to learn all this stuff or just kinda skim over it because my Kaplan books and practice problems don't cover this stuff that much

Yeah I watched his videos for physics as well and hes great at giving some examples, but I was wondering if there was another study aid for physics since the best way to learn is by practicing all of those problems. That's a good question about rotational kinematics; I wonder if it is commonly tested on the OAT or not. Yeah he does mention the MCAT a lot in the OAT videos, but usually he tries to specify that this will not be on the DAT/OAT because they are both different than the MCAT. How are you practicing for physics? Are you just taking his quizzes or do have any other resources to help you with that?

The OAT destroyer is a great resource for both Physics and QR. I would say that pretty much every conceivable problem type was covered in that book. Well worth the money.

It's also in your best interest to be familiar with and understand Physics concepts related to the problems that will have calculations.

I used Chads videos and actually got a tutor for Physics because I took the class about 5 years ago as a summer course, and the material never really stuck with me cause I basically crammed a years worth of physics into a two month summer course, so my best bet was to seek additional help. The tutor was very helpful, but if you feel like you understand Physics and it comes somewhat easy to you, I think Chads videos and quizzes are pretty helpful. The OAT Destroyer has a lot of practice problems too with detailed explanations on how to do them. All of these are great sources.

QR was my absolute worst section on the OAT, primarily because of the time issue, but also because I was not exposed to certain types of long word problems before my first test. Before the first test I studied chad's videos and some of the Kaplan course for QR, and I scored 240.

I knew I had to do something different, so I bought the Math Destroyer. I went over the first 4 test not timed, just seeing what I could figure out. It was not pretty. So I would go over all the answers and work every problem out until I understood it. Then I took test 5-7 timed over the next few days. I also did the free DAT bootcamp QR test online. I still did not feel 100% confident going into the test, but I ended up making 50 points higher, a 290, on the QR section my second attempt. I think Math Destroyer is definitely the best to expose you to all types of problems, but don't get discouraged if there are a few you don't understand.
