hey guys,

I'm sorry if this is a repost.

I'm studying for the physics portion as we speak, and finding angles with arctan and whatnot- how do I do this without a calculator?

for sin and cos.. I know the trig functions but getting it to a decimal, rather than keeping it in a square root- How do I do THIS without a calculator?

All the questions I'm using for practice convert the answers to decimals. How is it like on the test (if I may ask)?

I doubt they'll ask you to do something like sin39 on the test. Memorize the basic ones like sin45, cos 45, etc.. Estimate the values to figure out decimals. You'll need to estimate on the QR part too.

The physics section is more conceptual than it is numerical.
