- Pre-Dental
I was in a dual credit high school (where I graduated with an associates and high school diploma), and I took a Conceptual Physics class (not math based) at the local CC. It turns out the university I am attending accepted the credit as some sort of Physics for non science majors.
My question is, should I transfer the credit and use it as my physics pre-req for Dental School? I made an A in the class. It also had a lab.
I do know that taking pre-req courses at a CC is not a good idea, so that's why I waited on ALL of my sciences and maths. I got my English, Psych, & Sociology out of the way through my dual credit high school. I made A's in all of them.
Will having these transfer credits hurt me when it comes down to dental school applications in 4 years?
I didn't actually attend CC I just took the initiative to start knocking out pre-reqs for dental school as early as my Jr year in high school.
This fall-- Ill be starting on my Bio, Chem, (Physics maybe), & Calculus prereqs.
Any opinions on my dental school chances down the line as far as pre-reqs are concerned?
My overall GPA is a 4.0 still.. but of course I won't reached the university level until this upcoming semester.
