I'm having trouble with some secondaries (Vermont in particular) that require a full year of physics plus lab. The AP credit from Physics B was removed from my transcript because I took two quarters that I placed out of. I got a letter stating that I have the AP credit, so I can prove a year of physics, but I don't have any lab. Any ideas? I was a chemical engineering major and took several ChemE labs that I'm hoping I can use. Anyone else with an engineering major that has done this? It would seem silly to take a freshman physics lab when I have a MS/BS in ChemE but if that's what i have to do...

Before you blow 75 bucks on a secondary, I'd call up UVM's office of admissions and make sure I made the minimum requirements. There's no point in applying to a school that won't even look at you because you haven't fulfilled their pre-reqs. Also, did you take any upper level physics courses? Some schools don't accept AP credit, but if you've taken upper level division courses, that will satisfy them.
