Hi guys. I just bought my physics textbook last week for Phys I and I have to say it's pretty awful. There are hardly any practice problems and the text is like a dry run-on. Are there any other books (either textbooks or study guides) that you all can recommend?

Thanks!

I took physics I last semester. If its anything like my physics book, it was horrible. I think that all physics and math books are like this. I figured if I purchased the study guide I could figure the problems out, wrong. It is the worst study guide I've ever seen; it only shows how to do like 5-6 problems out of entire CHAPTERS. In other words, checkout the books before you buy them, I was at b&n last night and they had a TON of study guides. Chem, orgo, physics. Some of them were pretty good.

Good luck!
