Would Schools (Creighton, for example) accept a medical laboratory technician curriculum as a substitute for an Animal Physiology class? All organ systems, everything thinkable about blood, immune system etc. were all covered (both the sciences and the clinical correlations) over 60 semester hours.

If not, I have a one quarter Animal Physiology class I can take, it would just be a tight fit in my schedule. Thanks in advance

This is definitely a question I would contact potential schools about. I personally don't know the answer, but it would be a shame if it held you back into getting accepted to medical school.

Is it alright to call a school prior to an application?

I would assume so. I haven't had to do it, but it definitely wouldn't hurt. It's not like they will reject a future application for asking them a reasonable question. Also, I wouldn't want to risk the chance of wasting an application cycle because you need to take the class.
